"Burnham URC seeks to be a local fellowship within the United Reformed Church providing for the spiritual needs both of those within the Reformed tradition and those of other, or no, traditions.

Trusting in the grace of God, the church will seek to increase its witness in the village and surrounding communities, to encourage growth in faith and in spirituality among existing members and adherents of all ages, and to provide the space and means by which others may come to faith.

The church will endeavour to play its full part in local ecumenical activities and in the wider councils of the United Reformed Church." 

What this means for the future is that we will seek..........

1. To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom of God

 and 

2. To capitalise more effectively on our

position and visibility in Burnham as

‘The Church by the Village Green’

and 

3. To become a spiritual centre for the village

and 

4. To become a church for the community

that is known and used by the community

and

5. To respond to human need, in the village

and beyond, by loving service
